Surgical Technician Job Description

Tenet Massachusetts is seeking a skilled Surgical Technician to join our team at Saint Vincent Hospital in Worcester, MA, or MetroWest Medical Center in Framingham, MA.

Job Summary:

The Surgical Technician will assist surgeons and medical staff during surgical procedures, ensuring aseptic technique and providing necessary equipment and supplies. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist surgeons and medical staff during surgical procedures
  • Ensure aseptic technique and maintain a clean and safe operating room environment
  • Provide necessary equipment and supplies for surgical procedures
  • Collaborate with medical staff to ensure smooth and efficient surgical procedures
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest surgical techniques and technologies
Requirements:
  • Graduate of a surgical technician program
  • 1 year of experience as a surgical technician (preferred)
  • BLS certification
  • Surgical Technology Certification (preferred)
