Machinist - Die Shop Specialist

As a Machinist at Tesla, Inc., you will be responsible for performing general maintenance and pressure washing of specialized production equipment. This includes using ultra-high pressure hydro blasters up to 40k psi and handling hazardous waste material safely. You will also be required to climb and maintain balance on ladders, scaffolding, or other high structures, and perform physical tasks such as laying, bending, squatting, kneeling, crouching, and crawling for extended periods. Additionally, you will be expected to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required.
Key Responsibilities
Perform general maintenance and pressure washing of production equipment
Use ultra-high pressure hydro blasters up to 40k psi
Handle hazardous waste material safely
Climb and maintain balance on ladders, scaffolding, or other high structures
Perform physical tasks such as laying, bending, squatting, kneeling, crouching, and crawling
Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
1+ year of experience in a related field
Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and lifting
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
