Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Process Engineer to join our team in Ashland City, Tennessee. As a Process Engineer, you will play a key role in the development and implementation of innovative water technology solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Participate in industry groups to stay up-to-date on the latest trends and technologies.
  • Perform advanced engineering tasks under limited supervision, including mentoring the engineering design team.
  • Oversee all aspects of significant engineering projects, from start to finish, ensuring timely and budget-friendly completion.
  • Develop action plans and estimate resource requirements for management, labor, materials, and time.
  • Prepare monthly reports detailing progress and costs for top management.
  • Utilize CAE tools such as SolidWorks, MATLAB, LabView, Minitab, EES, CFD, and FEA.
  • Develop and apply engineering standards and procedures, providing advice on issues within the engineering field.
  • Analyze and identify causes of component failures.
  • Provide technical solutions to help solve manufacturing issues or address customer field issues.
  • Lead brainstorming activities for specific needs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
  • 3+ years of manufacturing experience, with experience in lean manufacturing and conducting capability studies preferred.
  • 6 sigma or FMEA experience a plus.
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to solve complex problems.
  • Experience leading Kaizen-related or Continuous Improvement activities.
  • Ability to analyze and resolve issues quickly through root cause analysis.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Knowledge of SAP and MRP systems is beneficial.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing techniques.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Access, Excel, PowerPoint, and AutoCAD. SolidWorks preferred.
