About the Role:The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the Global Quality System to ensure compliance with customer, FDA, USDA, and HACCP plans. This includes recordkeeping, key performance indicators, and environmental swabs and microbiological sampling.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist the Quality Manager in training and daily initiatives addressing quality, food safety, and sanitation issues.
- Conduct workstation inspections to verify compliance with gold standard verification, specs, sanitizer, food temperatures, and HACCP documentation.
- Verify Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) logs and other documents are accurately completed on a daily basis.
- Create charts, trending reports, training materials, and visuals.
- Train hourly employees as needed.
- Bi-lingual in English and Spanish a plus.
- Proficient in using computer and basic software such as Microsoft, create and maintain trending charts, SOP's, use of calculator, weight scales, and thermometers, metal detector, ATP testing equipment, mechanical food portioning and processing equipment.
- Previous food industry and quality assurance experience a plus.
- Ability to work in cold environment.
- Ability to work with minimum to no supervision, act in liaison of the Supervisor, self-starter, and problem solver.
- Must be flexible to work weekends/holidays.
