Role Summary:

As a Production Manager, you will oversee the operational management of designated production areas. Your responsibilities will include mentoring team members, strategic planning, problem-solving, and fostering continuous improvement in alignment with our manufacturing systems and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead departmental initiatives to enhance knowledge sharing, promote continuous improvement, and engage team members.

Candidate Profile:

Required Experience:

  • 6-10 years in a production environment.

Required Education:

  • High School Diploma or GED.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of IQS/PQS systems.
  • Conflict resolution and consensus-building abilities.
  • Experience in crisis management within designated responsibilities.
  • Familiarity with Honda/Japanese culture and terminology.
  • Understanding of business planning processes.
  • Knowledge of nonconforming procedures and quality management systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to develop and report on delivery metrics.
  • Experience in cost reporting within the production environment.
  • Knowledge of SEQCDM guidelines.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.
  • Ability to respond promptly to production needs.

Working Conditions:

  • Onsite work environment.
  • Standing for extended periods may be required.
  • Fast-paced production setting with varying temperatures.
  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
  • Minimal travel may be necessary for training and support.
