Cloud Data Analyst/Scientist

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer/Scientist to join our team at GovCIO. As a key member of our ETL Team, you will be responsible for ingesting and visualizing data from various cloud sources, identifying deviations from normalization, and developing predictive models to drive business decisions.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement data wrangling tools, including ETL and ELT, to collect and blend data from operational and external systems.
- Apply data mining, machine learning, and statistical analysis to create predictive and descriptive models, and integrate them with operational systems.
- Maintain and verify the accuracy of analytical systems, and interact with business and data SMEs to prioritize business needs.
- Collect and transform structured, unstructured, relational, and NoSQL data using ETL and ELT tools, and develop custom code using programming languages.
- Analyze data using data mining, machine learning, and statistical algorithms, and build analytical solutions using programming languages and libraries.
- Interpret and evaluate the accuracy of results through iterative, agile methods, and apply data discovery and visualization tools to develop compelling data stories.
- HS Diploma with 9+ years of experience/professional
- Clearance: Secret (will accept a SECRET clearance but must be able to obtain a Top Secret clearance)
- IAT level II/III certification (i.e., CompTIA Security+(CE))
- Demonstrated experience or certifications in Linux and/or AWS GovCloud technologies
- Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with customers and internal cross-functional teams
- Experience with virtual and/or cloud-based servers and applications (AWS GovCloud Specific)
- Excellent technical documentation and reporting skills
- Effective written and oral communication skills
- Experience working in an Agile environment
- Certification(s) in relevant technologies
- Active Top Secret clearance
