Key Responsibilities
  • Cloud Infrastructure Design and Implementation: Collaborate with our team to design and implement cloud infrastructure solutions that meet our business requirements, ensuring scalability, security, and reliability.
  • Cloud Platform Management: Manage and maintain our cloud infrastructure, including cloud providers such as GCP, Azure, and AWS, to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Cloud Security and Compliance: Ensure that our cloud infrastructure meets the highest security and compliance standards, protecting our customers' data and maintaining the integrity of our systems.
  • Cloud Migration and Deployment: Lead the migration and deployment of our applications and services to the cloud, ensuring seamless transitions and minimal downtime.
  • Cloud Cost Optimization: Analyze and optimize our cloud costs, ensuring that we are getting the best value for our investment.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in implementing and maintaining highly complex cloud environments in one or more of the cloud platforms - GCP, Azure, and AWS.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of software experience in cloud environments.
  • Experience driving software engineering practices through good software design, clean and secure code, code reviews, unit testing, CI/CD pipeline, operational efficiency, and using data to drive and make decisions.
  • Demonstrated hands-on expertise in many disparate technologies, typically ranging from front-end user interfaces through to back-end software systems, infrastructure, and all points in between.
  • Experience with SOLID design practices, design patterns, including object-oriented design and OOP.
  • Strong understanding of cloud computing and hands-on experience of migrating/operating workloads in AWS, Azure, and GCP.
  • Experience with one or more of AWS, Azure, GCP around Compute, Storage, and essential Networking technologies and Pub/Sub model.
  • Experience with Kubernetes or AKS or EKS or GKE cluster deployment and support.
  • Experience automating with infrastructure as code tools (Terraform) and integrating systems using a high-level language (Go, Python).
  • Experience working cross-team projects with the ability to identify risks and weigh tradeoffs.
  • Strong self-starter attitude that enjoys collaborating, listening, and communication that encourage different perspectives and creative solutions.
