Position Overview

The Speech Language Pathologist I provides essential speech therapy services on a per diem basis. This role involves conducting thorough evaluations, developing personalized patient care plans, and implementing effective treatment strategies. The professional is expected to apply current knowledge and methodologies in the field of Speech Therapy.

Salary Information

The compensation for this position is set at an hourly rate of $71.79. Please note that the final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals in accordance with university policy. Factors influencing salary placement include relevant work experience and internal equity within the classification.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Newly licensed Speech Language Pathologist (LIC SLP) or completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) as applicable.
  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Completion of Clinical Practicum as per American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) standards.
  • Successful completion of the National Examination for Speech-Language Pathology.

Preferred:

  • At least one year of experience in a relevant clinical setting.
  • Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
