Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and serve a variety of beverages to customers.
  • Assist servers with drink orders and ensure timely service.
  • Maintain accurate sales records and balance cash registers at the end of your shift.
  • Monitor customer alcohol consumption and ensure responsible service.
  • Set up and clean the bar area, ensuring a tidy workspace.
  • Prepare garnishes and other drink ingredients as needed.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • No formal education is required.
  • At least one year of bartending experience is preferred.

Performance Standards:

  • Ability to mix and create a wide range of beverages.
  • Strong communication skills with customers and team members.
  • Capability to assess when to limit service to patrons who have consumed too much alcohol.

Physical and Mental Requirements:

  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Comfortable with walking and performing repetitive motions.
  • Physical capability to lift up to 20 lbs.

Work Environment:

  • Primarily indoor work with occasional outdoor tasks.
  • Exposure to loud noise and cleaning chemicals.

Equipment Used:

  • Micros register for transactions.
  • Blender and other bar equipment.
