Job Title: Environmental Services Aide

Stony Brook Medicine is seeking a detail-oriented Environmental Services Aide to join their team. As an Environmental Services Aide, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform cleaning duties in patient rooms, common areas, and surgical areas
  • Operate heavy equipment such as floor buffers and vacuum cleaners
  • Restock linens, toiletries, and cleaning supplies
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure a smooth workflow
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of cleaning chemicals
