VP, Medical Strategy Director

At Area 23 on Hudson, we are seeking a seasoned medical professional to lead our medical strategy efforts. As the VP, Medical Strategy Director, you will be responsible for driving scientific and clinical excellence in our business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement medical strategies that align with our business objectives.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and clients to ensure scientific and clinical relevance in strategic and creative developments.
  • Provide strategic medical recommendations based on evolving market trends to enhance brand communications.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of our capabilities and competitive landscape, staying updated on industry trends.
  • Identify and capitalize on medical opportunities that contribute to strategic and tactical development.
  • Drive research and development efforts for new business pitches, contributing to strategic recommendations and the medical portion of pitch presentations.
  • Mentor and supervise a team of medical professionals, fostering their growth and development.

Requirements:

  • Advanced degree in a relevant medical or scientific field.
  • Extensive experience in medical or scientific roles, demonstrating a proven track record of success.
  • Strong strategic thinking, analytical skills, and the ability to distil complex data into actionable insights.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, fostering strong client relationships and internal collaboration.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects independently while maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy.

Salary: $200,000 - $230,000

The salary range for this position is noted within this job posting. Where an employee or prospective employee is paid within this range will depend on, among other factors, actual ranges for current/former employees in the subject position; market considerations; budgetary considerations; tenure and standing with the company (applicable to current employees); as well as the employee's/applicant's background, pertinent experience, and qualifications.
