Material Handler Sterilization Specialist

At Applied Medical, we are seeking a highly skilled Material Handler Sterilization Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our warehouse operations, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and safety of our medical devices.
Key Responsibilities:- Ethylene Oxide (EO) Sterilization: Load products into the sterilization chamber, initiate the sterilization cycle, and transfer products to the aeration chamber for outgassing.
- Electron Beam (E-beam) Sterilization: Operate the sterilization system, schedule sterilization recipes, and ensure compliance with radiation safety protocols.
- Documentation and Quality Control: Review documentation, ensure adherence to Manufacturing Instructions (MI) requirements, and deliver products to the Quality department for Final Inspection.
- Safety Protocols: Follow proper usage protocols for personal protective equipment (PPE), undergo respiratory protection training and fit testing, and adhere to safety rules and company policies.
- Education: High school graduate or equivalent.
- Experience: Minimum one year of experience in medical manufacturing or warehouse operations.
- Skills: Ability to stand and work continuously for several hours, lift objects weighing up to 50lbs, and operate equipment safely.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with SAP and basic office software.
- Competitive Compensation: $17 - $18 / hour (California).
