Material Handler Sterilization Job Description

At Applied Medical, we are seeking a highly skilled Material Handler Sterilization professional to join our team. As a Material Handler Sterilization, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and safety of our medical devices by operating state-of-the-art sterilization equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ethylene Oxide (EO) Sterilization: Load products into the sterilization chamber, initiate the sterilization cycle, and transfer products to the aeration chamber for outgassing.
  • Electron Beam (E-beam) Sterilization: Operate the sterilization system, schedule sterilization recipes, and ensure compliance with radiation safety protocols.
  • Documentation and Quality Control: Review documentation, ensure adherence to specified standards, and deliver products to the Quality department for Final Inspection.
  • Safety Protocols: Follow safety procedures, wear personal protective equipment (PPE), and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Requirements:
  • Education: High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Experience: Minimum one year of experience in medical manufacturing or warehouse operations.
  • Skills: Ability to stand and work continuously for several hours, lift objects weighing up to 50lbs, and operate equipment safely.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with SAP and basic office software.
