Job Details

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Maintenance Mechanic to join our dynamic team on the 3rd shift. This role is critical to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our production lines and to maintain the high quality of our products. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of our industrial machinery and mechanical equipment. This is a full-time position that requires a hands-on approach, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment to identify and rectify potential faults and prevent breakdowns.
  • Execute preventative maintenance tasks to enhance the longevity and efficiency of our machinery and equipment.
  • Diagnose complex mechanical and electrical issues promptly and accurately.
  • Comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) standards at all times.
  • Repair or replace defective machinery components.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance logs and reports to document all repairs, inspections, and maintenance tasks.
  • Collaborate with the production team to ensure machinery and equipment are in optimal condition and to minimize downtime.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends, techniques, and safety regulations.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and projects.

Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Maintenance Mechanic in the Manufacturing industry or a similar role.
  • In-depth knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical systems, and industrial machinery.
  • Proficiency in preventative maintenance and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP).
  • Strong understanding of safety regulations and procedures.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication and documentation skills.
  • Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy machinery parts.
  • A relevant certification or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is advantageous.
