Maintenance Supervisor

Milwaukee Valve Company is seeking a skilled Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the smooth operation of our facilities in Prairie Du Sac, WI. As a key member of our Department 271 team, you will be responsible for directing maintenance personnel and ensuring the efficient execution of maintenance tasks.

As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for:
- Reviewing work orders and ensuring timely completion
- Organizing and assigning work to maintenance personnel
- Supervising skilled and semi-skilled employees performing repairs and preventive maintenance
- Anticipating and resolving maintenance and personnel problems
- Ensuring safety protocols are followed and addressing any safety concerns
- Managing spare parts inventory and other duties as assigned

To be considered for this role, you will need:
- An Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school
- Related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to read and interpret documents, write routine reports, and speak effectively before groups
- Mathematical skills, including calculating figures and amounts, and applying concepts of basic algebra and geometry
- Reasoning ability, including solving practical problems and dealing with concrete variables
The physical demands of this role include:
- Regularly standing, walking, using hands to finger, handle, or feel, and reaching with hands and arms
- Frequently climbing or balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling
- Occasionally sitting
The work environment for this role includes:
- Regular exposure to moving mechanical parts
- Frequent exposure to high, precarious places, fumes or airborne particles, outside weather conditions, extreme heat, and risk of electrical shock
- Very loud noise levels
