Job Summary:

Allina Health is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join their busy primary care practice in Cambridge, Minnesota. As a key member of the healthcare team, you will work collaboratively with patients to improve their health and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality patient care, including routine check-ups, health screenings, and treatment of acute and chronic conditions.
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and workflows.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research, technologies, and best practices to provide evidence-based care.

Requirements:

  • Licensed Registered Nurse - MN Board of Nursing required upon hire.
  • Certified Nurse Practitioner - ANCC - American Nurse Credentialing Center (ANCC) required certification within specialty upon hire.
  • Licensed Physician Assistant - MN Board of Medical Practice required upon hire.
  • ACLS-BLS Tier 2 - Multisource required within 180 Days.
  • Active, non-restricted medical license in MN (or ability to obtain).
  • Ability to obtain and/or maintain MN DEA certification and National Provider Identifier (NPI).
  • Ability to meet criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and hospital privileges, if applicable.

Physical Demands:

Medium Work*: Lifting weight Up to 32 lbs. occasionally (*Allina Safe Patient Moving Policy), Up to 25 lbs. frequently.
