Job Title: Highway Maintenance Worker III: Specialty Crew Leader

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute skilled manual tasks and operate heavy machinery including cranes, crawlers, and boom trucks in various highway and bridge maintenance projects.
  • Input data and generate reports within the maintenance management system while conducting quality assurance and quality control checks for data integrity.
  • Oversee inventory management of repair supplies and ensure the upkeep of equipment.
  • Guarantee adherence to safety regulations and environmental standards by the crew.
  • Coordinate emergency response operations and assist in construction-related tasks.
  • Facilitate training sessions for team members and maintain essential documentation.
  • Manage traffic control measures for maintenance work zones.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • A minimum of 2.5 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • A valid motor vehicle operator's license is required; a Class A CDL must be obtained within 6 months of employment.
  • Physical demands include the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in diverse environmental conditions.
