As a Technical Support Specialist, you will be responsible for installing, configuring, maintaining, and supporting the hardware and software systems used in our production and distribution environments.
Key Responsibilities:- Hardware and Software Support: Install, modify, configure, and repair computer hardware and software systems, and provide technical assistance to system users.
- Network Administration: Administer local area networks (LAN) and wireless local area networks (WLAN), under the direction of the Supervisor or Manufacturing Support Manager.
- Equipment Installation and Maintenance: Install, configure, and troubleshoot computer networks and assemblies associated with time and attendance, gate access systems, and on-premise reporting systems.
- Software Development: Write automated routines and programs using common desktop software.
- Documentation and Training: Document Standard Operating Procedures and Work Instructions at the direction of the Lead Systems Support Specialist, Supervisor, or Manager. Instruct users in the use of equipment, software, and manuals.
- Education: H.S. diploma plus broad specialized training in technical, electronic/computer training equivalent to two (2) years of college.
- Experience: One (1) to three (3) years of experience in an ERP-supported manufacturing environment. Related Help Desk, Desktop & Network Troubleshooting experience a plus.
