Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at StandardAero. As a key member of our maintenance operations, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance of our aircraft fleet, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise a team of technicians and mechanics to ensure that all maintenance work is completed on time and to the required standard.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure that all necessary resources are available to complete maintenance tasks.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules and plans to ensure that all aircraft are airworthy and meet regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular inspections of aircraft and maintenance facilities to ensure that all work is being completed to the required standard.
  • Collaborate with other maintenance teams to share best practices and improve overall maintenance efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers to ensure that their maintenance needs are met and that they are satisfied with our services.
  • Stay up-to-date with regulatory requirements and industry developments to ensure that our maintenance operations are compliant and best-in-class.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field (e.g. aviation, engineering) preferred.
  • Valid FAA A&P certification required.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in aircraft maintenance, with at least 2 years of supervisory experience.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading maintenance teams and improving maintenance efficiency.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, technicians, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in aircraft maintenance, with at least 5 years of supervisory experience.
  • Experience working with Embraer aircraft (Legacy, Prader, and/or Phenom) preferred.
  • Ability to read, understand, and interpret maintenance manuals and technical documents.
  • Ability to work outside of regular working hours, including weekends and overtime, as needed.
