Neurosurgery APP Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our dynamic team at Johns Hopkins Medicine. As an Advanced Practice Provider in Neurosurgery, you will play a crucial role in delivering comprehensive care to patients with neurosurgical conditions in an outpatient setting.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality patient care in a collaborative and stimulating environment
- Work alongside world-class physicians and healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient outcomes
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of patients
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes
- Participate in research and quality improvement projects to advance clinical practice and patient care
- Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of Maryland (or eligibility for licensure) along with Maryland CDS (prescription) and DEA (narcotics) licensure required
- Adult or Family Nurse Practitioner certification required
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner in neurology or neurosurgery preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills, with the ability to independently manage complex patients
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-centered approach to care
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and collaborative healthcare environment
