About the Position

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our dynamic team at Johns Hopkins Medicine. As an Advanced Practice Provider in Neurosurgery, you will play a crucial role in delivering comprehensive care to patients with neurosurgical conditions in an outpatient setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality patient care in a collaborative and stimulating environment
  • Work alongside world-class physicians and healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient outcomes
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of patients
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes
  • Participate in research and quality improvement projects to advance clinical practice and patient care
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
  • Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of Maryland (or eligibility for licensure) along with Maryland CDS (prescription) and DEA (narcotics) licensure required
  • Adult or Family Nurse Practitioner certification required
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner in neurology or neurosurgery preferred
  • Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills, with the ability to independently manage complex patients
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-centered approach to care
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and collaborative healthcare environment
