Job Summary

We're seeking a skilled Cashier to create an efficient, stress-free, and enjoyable experience for each customer. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for receiving payment from customers for parking services and facilitating the flow of traffic through the facility. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Treat each customer with respect and kindness, ensuring each interaction delivers on the SP Plus Promise.
  • Count and manage cash and/or validations, maintaining security and accuracy.
  • Operate a cash register, calculate transactions, and provide change to customers.
  • Quote prices for parking services and provide directions to city locations.
  • Resolve customer complaints quickly and efficiently, escalating issues to supervisors when necessary.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to company standards.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Less than one month of related experience or training preferred.
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
  • Valid state-issued driver's license required (if applicable).
  • Mathematical skills: ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.
  • Language skills: ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
