Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of access control technicians to ensure timely and efficient completion of tasks.
  • Develop and implement access control policies and procedures to ensure compliance with University regulations and industry standards.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure the integrity and security of access control systems.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of access control systems with other campus security systems.
  • Provide training and guidance to access control technicians to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Develop and maintain accurate records of access control system maintenance, repairs, and upgrades.
  • Ensure compliance with University policies and procedures related to access control and security.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • At least 48 months of experience in access control and security, including 12 months of supervisory experience.
  • Valid Oklahoma driver's license required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent deadlines and interruptions. The position may require working in a variety of settings, including offices, classrooms, and outdoor environments. The candidate must be able to lift and carry heavy equipment and materials, and work in a variety of weather conditions.

Supervision

The Access Control Supervisor will supervise a team of 7 access control technicians.
