Unit Overview:
~ 18-bed unit dedicated to patients experiencing various stages of Renal Disease, including Chronic Kidney Disease, Acute Renal Failure, and End Stage Renal Disease requiring dialysis.
~ A specialized unit managing higher acuity and complex patient cases.
~ Renal RNs receive specialized training to conduct Peritoneal Dialysis for all in-house patients.
~ Collaborate closely with Nephrologists to provide optimal care for our specialized patient population.
~ Flexible self-scheduling with three weekend shifts required within a six-week scheduling period.
As a leader, you will facilitate the delivery of professional nursing care aimed at ensuring the comfort and well-being of patients.
Utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, you will provide, delegate, supervise, and document care and education for patients and their families.
Preferred Qualifications:
~ A minimum of one year of nursing experience in a hospital setting.
~ Bachelor of Science in Nursing or enrollment in a BSN or advanced degree program, with the expectation of obtaining a BSN within five years of hire. Exemptions may be granted by the facility CNO.
Licensure and Certifications Required:
~ Must possess and maintain current licensure as a registered nurse with the appropriate nursing board.
Required Certification:
~ BLS Healthcare Provider certification.
