Key Carrier Coordinator

As a Key Carrier and Store Coordinator, you will play a vital role in maintaining the overall success of our HomeGoods store. This is an elevated extension of the Coordinator role, where you will alternate between performing the role of Coordinator and occasionally acting as Key Carrier, taking on a leadership role in maintaining all aspects of the store.
This position requires open availability, including nights and weekends, and role models exceptional customer service. You will be responsible for creating a positive internal and external customer experience, promoting a culture of honesty and integrity, and maintaining confidentiality.

- Acts as Manager on Duty adhering to company policy and procedure
- Ensures store team performs tasks and activities in accordance with store plan; prioritizes as needed
- Addresses immediate customer service issues and provides appropriate coaching to Associates
- Exercises discretion regarding customer service policies to satisfy customers
- Maintains accurate Associate coverage in service areas for a positive customer experience
- Ensures Associates adhere to all operational procedures
- Ensures opening/closing procedures are executed according to company guidelines
- Communicates accurately and effectively with management and Associates when setting and addressing priorities; provides progress updates
- Provides and accepts recognition and constructive feedback
- Provides feedback, recognition and coaching to Associates
- Partners with Management on Associate training needs to increase effectiveness
- Ensures adherence to all labor laws, policies, and procedures
- Promotes credit and loyalty programs
- Supports and participates in shrink reduction goals and programs
- Promotes safety awareness and maintains a safe environment
- Other duties as assigned
We are looking for a team player who can work effectively with peers and supervisors, respond appropriately to changes in direction or unexpected situations, and have knowledge of company standard software, systems, and procedures. The ideal candidate will have proven problem-solving skills, be able to effectively coach, delegate, and follow-up on multiple people/tasks, and have superior communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.

This position has a starting pay range of $14.00 to $14.50 per hour, and actual starting pay is determined by a number of factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
