- Develop and implement comprehensive HR programs to support district operations and achieve local performance measures and objectives.
- Manage a team of HR professionals engaged in a variety of activities, including talent acquisition, performance management, compensation management, benefits administration, workforce development, and employee relations.
- Oversee the implementation of organizational change initiatives and provide strategic leadership to management.
- Experience implementing organizational change initiatives.
- Experience in supervising professional and administrative human resources staff.
- Extensive knowledge of principles and practices of HR program administration.
- Ability to work with management, teams, and employees at all levels within an organization.
- Skill in administering comprehensive HR programs, including talent acquisition, total rewards, workforce development, and succession planning.
- Extensive knowledge of state and federal HR laws, regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Experience in providing strategic leadership to management.
- Skill in analyzing complex business issues and developing solutions.
- SPHR, CCP, program or project management certification.
- Experience working in a large-scale organization with a diverse workforce.
- Skill in using an automated human resources information system.
- A combination of training, experience, or education in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or a related field.
- Experience working in a matrix reporting environment.
- Prior experience administering a comprehensive human resources management program or a combination of functional areas.
- Experience performing strategic management over multiple HR program areas.
