POSITION SUMMARY

· Responsible for executing designated porter tasks within the Vehicle Administration sector efficiently.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Primarily tasked with relocating and parking vehicles in the designated areas to meet the requirements of Vehicle Administration personnel, employee clients, and distinguished visitors. Duties may include light vehicle upkeep, such as interior tidying, exterior washing, and organizational responsibilities like affixing license plate holders and applying stickers or tags on vehicles.

· Transport new vehicles to and from the parking structure, ensuring they are in optimal condition for key handover.

  • Regular duties involve monitoring vehicle locations within the parking facility. This role is entry-level and includes comprehensive on-the-job training.
  • Work is conducted outdoors, regardless of weather conditions.

· Oversee vehicle movement in assigned parking zones, including the National Service Garage (NSG) and general parking areas.

· Collaborate with the Vehicle Administration Lead to accomplish tasks such as tracking key activities, cleaning vehicles, driving cars from NSG/Vehicle Administration zones, adhering to driving standards, responding to team requests, and managing documentation during idle periods.

  • Assist the Senior Manager of Vehicle Administration with special projects as needed.
  • Other responsibilities may be assigned periodically by management.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Preferred 1-2 years of experience in an automotive porter role.
  • Experience in an automotive or dealership environment for at least 12 months is preferred.
  • Familiarity with automotive dealership operations or similar business practices is preferred.
  • A high school diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) is required.
  • Proficiency in computer applications, particularly Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook is necessary.

· A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are mandatory.


LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY

  • Full professional proficiency in English is required.
  • Minimum professional proficiency in Spanish is preferred.


MATHEMATICAL ABILITY

· Basic arithmetic skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) are required.


REASONING SKILLS

  • Job entails analyzing information and applying logic to resolve work-related issues.
