We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at Memorial Hermann Health System. As a Radiology Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.
Key Responsibilities- Perform radiography (x-ray) examinations to aid physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.
- Prepare patients for exams, obtain and record vital signs, explain procedures, and position patients for optimal imaging.
- Ensure technical quality of images and maintain radiation safety procedures.
- Enter and monitor patient data, perform quality assurance on radiology equipment, and assist with accreditation processes.
- Identify and report accidents, complaints, or equipment malfunctions to department management.
- May administer breath alcohol tests and/or urine drug screens, and perform patient registration tasks.
- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
- Certified in Basic or Advanced Life Support.
- Current license or temporary license by the Texas Medical Board (MRT).
- Registered Radiology Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-R).
