Job Summary:

As a Clinical Radiologic Technologist I at UTHealth, you will play a crucial role in producing high-quality radiographs of various body parts according to physician requests. This position requires a strong understanding of radiological equipment and the ability to maintain quality assurance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop radiographs using an automatic processor and ensure desired results.
Prepare patient films for interpretation by radiologists.
Maintain quality assurance on all radiological equipment.
Prepare patients for radiographic procedures and assist in accurate timing and positioning techniques.
Maintain and file radiology procedure paperwork and inventory supplies.

Requirements:

Current licensure as a Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) by the Texas Medical Board.
Registered Radiologic Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT).
Graduate from an approved two-year program in Radiologic technology.
