Job Overview:
This role is responsible for overseeing personnel, projects, and activities within the plant maintenance division to ensure dependable and cost-efficient performance of plant operations.

The salary range for this position is anticipated to be $84k-$105k annually; however, the base salary offered may vary based on various individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Detailed Responsibilities:

Key Duties:
  • Oversees the upkeep of all production and packaging machinery, ensuring cost-effectiveness, high maintenance standards, and compliance with all safety and budgetary regulations.
  • Manages night shift maintenance personnel, including training, performance management, and organizing activities of the maintenance team.
  • Procures equipment, parts, and supplies as authorized by the Senior Manager of Plant Maintenance & Process Development.
  • Guides and monitors updates in maintenance software; ensures preventive maintenance tasks are logged and completed.
  • Collaborates on R&D projects and installations with the Senior Director of Process Development - R&D.
  • Supports sanitation activities to maintain a work environment that meets See's cleanliness and safety standards. Leads Food Safety and Quality initiatives with the designated SQF Practitioner.
  • Assists with the Emergency Preparedness Program.
  • Ensures compliance with all governmental regulations and agencies such as OSHA, EPA, FDA, FSMA, and local building, health, and other codes.
  • Identifies opportunities to enhance technology and innovation to improve departmental effectiveness.
  • In the absence of the Maintenance Supervisor, the Maintenance Manager will assume plant responsibility under the guidance of the Plant Manager.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Five to ten years of experience in maintaining plant machinery and equipment, including preventive maintenance programs, electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and boiler maintenance.
  • Proficient in computer skills, including MS Office tools: Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint.
  • Preferred degree in Engineering or equivalent work experience; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
  • Strong supervisory and motivational abilities. Excellent communication and technical skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new technologies and manage change effectively and positively.
