Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Musculoskeletal Radiologist to join our team at VCU Health. As a sub-specialized imaging expert, you will provide high-quality interpretations and interventions for musculoskeletal imaging modalities, while also training residents and fellows in our large and productive radiology department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teaching: Provide training to medical students, residents, and fellows who rotate through the Department of Radiology.
  • Research: Maintain professional relationships and collaboration with specialists in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery and other departments to foster interdisciplinary research.
  • Service: Devote time and effort to academic service-related activities, including School of Medicine, VCU Health, and departmental committee work, professional growth, and other assignments.
  • Clinical: Provide high-quality, sub-specialized musculoskeletal imaging interpretations and interventions for assigned modalities in support of referring physicians and patients of VCUHS.
Requirements
  • ABR certification or documentation of passing the Core Component of the ABR Board examination.
  • Musculoskeletal Radiology fellowship.
  • Applicants must demonstrate experience working in and fostering a diverse faculty, staff, and student environment or commitment to do so as a faculty member at VCU.
  • Candidates must be eligible for a Virginia medical license.
  • Be eligible for permanent employment in the USA.
