Job Title: Credit Representative

We are seeking a highly skilled Credit Representative to join our team at VetJobs. As a Credit Representative, you will be responsible for processing orders, addressing past due status, making collection calls, reviewing credit lines, and making credit decisions based on established guidelines and limits of authority.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Reconcile customer accounts by resolving any problems that are preventing timely payments.
  • Assist customers with credit/collection reconciliation problems with their outstanding balance.
  • Research and reconcile miss-applied payments, short paid invoices, credits taken twice, sales tax adjustments, and all other disputed balances on open transactions.
  • Process duplicate copies of invoices or credits for accounts at the customer's request.
  • Process proof of deliveries for UPS, Truck, and Direct shipments made to customers.
  • Interact with internal personnel regarding customer inquiries on billing issues.
  • Responsible for a collection portfolio of approximately 800 customers with balances greater than 30 days old.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred.
  • Minimum of two years of commercial credit/collections experience required.
  • CRT, PC experience required.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills required.
  • Good time management and organizational skills required.
Compensation:

Starting at $15 - $23 per hour, dependent on candidate location and experience.
