Job Title: Warehouse Operator

CHEP is a leading provider of supply chain solutions, and we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Operator to join our team in Bolingbrook, IL.

As a Warehouse Operator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse. Your responsibilities will include maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards, cleaning and sanitizing bulk shipping containers, and adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines while operating machinery.

We are looking for someone with strong communication and observation skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. If you are a team player who is comfortable with cleaning equipment and machinery, and has a strong understanding of safety regulations and procedures relevant to forklift operations, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while operating machinery.
  • Maintain awareness of pedestrian and vehicle traffic in the work area.
  • Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment daily.
  • Report any safety hazards or concerns to supervisors immediately.
  • Perform routine cleaning and sanitization of bulk shipping containers utilizing a pressure washer, foamer, and sanitizing fog.
  • Clean and sanitize containers using food-grade chemicals mixed to correct concentrations.
