Job Title: Warehouse Operator

CHEP is a leading provider of supply chain solutions, and we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Operator to join our team in Bolingbrook, IL.

About the Role:

As a Warehouse Operator, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards, and performing routine cleaning and sanitization of bulk shipping containers. You will work in a fast-paced environment, utilizing a pressure washer, foamer, and sanitizing fog to clean and sanitize containers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while operating machinery.
  • Maintain awareness of pedestrian and vehicle traffic in the work area.
  • Perform routine cleaning and sanitization of bulk shipping containers.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to achieve warehouse goals.

Requirements:

  • Familiarity with cleaning and sanitation procedures in a warehouse setting.
  • Ability to work in a warehouse environment with exposure to varying temperatures and conditions.
  • Strong understanding of safety regulations and procedures relevant to forklift operations.
  • Ability to lift and move containers weighing up to 50lbs.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of experience in a warehouse or supply chain environment.
