Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily operations, including scheduling, workflow management, and quality control.
  • Ensure efficient resource utilization and high standards of service delivery.
  • Implement and enforce safety protocols and industry regulations.
  • Foster a positive work environment through ongoing coaching opportunities.
  • Uphold a customer-centric approach by ensuring prompt and courteous service.
  • Address customer concerns and complaints through effective communication.
  • Maintain strong relationships with customers to enhance loyalty and satisfaction.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, technological advancements, and market developments.
  • Prepare regular reports on shop performance and key metrics.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a General Manager or similar role in an auto mechanic shop.
  • Efficient in Digital Visual Inspections and Procedures.
  • Experience with Autoflow or similar platform is preferred but not required.
  • Strong leadership and managerial skills with the ability to motivate a team.
  • Solid understanding of automotive systems, repair techniques, and industry standards.
  • Sound knowledge of financial management and budgeting.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • Degree in Business Administration, Automotive Technology, or similar technical college.
Physical Requirements
  • Occasional lifting and/or moving of objects over 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work with tools lifted above their head.
  • Work in tight spaces as dictated by the vehicle's needed repair.
  • Have the needed dexterity to efficiently use hand-tools.
  • Walk/stand for the majority of the workday.
  • Drive manual transmission vehicles.
  • Keep a brisk work pace in a high-volume environment.
  • Efficiently navigate a computer.
