Job Summary
As a Nurse, you will provide patient care in a long term care, memory care, short-term rehabilitation and senior independent living facility. We offer a competitive salary of $80,000 per year, depending on experience.

Responsibilities
  • Administer medications and treatments according to accepted standards.
  • Provide safe, efficient personal care of residents.
  • Use recommended safety devices and follow infection control guidelines.
  • Respond to call lights and residents' requests for assistance.
  • Maintain respect for residents' rights at all times.
  • Document medications and treatments administered, as well as care provided.
  • Assist with orientation of new employees on the unit.
  • Participate in resident care planning, updating care plans and aide assignments.
  • Evaluate residents, document findings and report to the physician; Transcribe physicians' orders.
  • Inform resident sponsors of any change in condition.
  • Discard and document discontinued medications.
  • Maintain accurate controlled substance numbers during shift.
  • Complete required documentation of nursing notes, transfer forms and other records.
  • Contribute to the operation of the unit, including the monthly change over of records.
  • Assign nurse aides tasks.
  • Provide handovers to incoming shifts.
  • Schedule and assist with physician appointments.
  • Record employee health testing results.
