Sentara Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Cardiac Electrophysiology Technician for the EP Lab at our esteemed Heart Hospital.

Work Schedule:
Full-Time Days, 36 hours weekly, starting at 6:30 AM with limited on-call responsibilities.
Sign-On Bonus:
A $10,000 sign-on bonus is available, along with relocation assistance.
The Cardiac Electrophysiology Technician plays a crucial role in assisting physicians during both diagnostic and therapeutic electrophysiology procedures, including device implants. This position involves delivering comprehensive patient care to all electrophysiology patients, ensuring the collection and analysis of essential information pertinent to their procedures. Additionally, this role includes providing both theoretical and practical training.

Educational Requirements:
High School Diploma or Equivalent - Completion of a cardiovascular technology program, or an associate's or bachelor's degree is required. Certification as a Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) is mandatory.
Essential Qualifications:
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications, along with a minimum of one year of relevant experience.
