Job Summary

We're seeking a skilled Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to join our team. As a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, you will be responsible for performing ultrasound procedures, maintaining equipment and supplies, and adhering to departmental procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform ultrasound procedures, including portables, ER, general, and vascular exams
  • Maintain licensure and participate in continuing education
  • Adhere to departmental procedures, including life, safety, fire, and hazardous waste requirements
  • Participate in clinical activities, such as assisting with patient flow and care, performing testing, and assisting providers
  • Participate in clerical activities, including registration, scheduling, filing, and telephones
  • Participate in departmental on-call requirements
Requirements
  • Associate degree or equivalent
  • Graduate of an accredited Sonography school or program
  • ARDMS certification (American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers)
  • BLS certification
  • Expected to acquire RVT certification within a specified timeframe
Preferred Qualifications
  • 1 year experience in general, vascular, and portable ultrasound
  • ARDMS eligibility
