Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for performing ultrasound procedures, maintaining equipment and supplies, and adhering to departmental procedures and safety protocols.

Responsibilities
  • Perform ultrasound procedures, including portables, ER, general, and vascular exams
  • Maintain licensure and participate in continuing education
  • Ensure compliance with life, safety, fire, and hazardous waste requirements
  • Participate in clinical and clerical activities, including patient flow, testing, and registration
  • Assist with on-call requirements and maintain a clean and organized work area
Requirements
  • Associate Degree or Equivalent
  • Graduate of an accredited Sonography school or program
  • ARDMS Certification (American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers)
  • BLS Certification
  • Expected to acquire RVT certification within a specified timeframe
Preferred Qualifications
  • 1 year experience in general, vascular, and portable ultrasound
  • ARDMS eligibility
