We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to join our team at Cooper University Health Care. As a key member of our Radiology department, you will be responsible for performing a variety of ultrasound procedures, including general, vascular, and portable exams.
Key Responsibilities- Perform ultrasound procedures in accordance with departmental procedures and protocols
- Maintain licensure and participate in continuing education programs to stay up-to-date on the latest imaging technologies and techniques
- Assist with patient flow and care, perform various testing, and assist providers as needed
- Participate in clerical activities, including registration, scheduling, and filing
- Participate in departmental on-call requirements and maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service
- Associate Degree or Equivalent in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field
- ARDMS Certification (American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers)
- BLS Certification
- Expected to acquire RVT certification within timeframe established by supervisor
- 1 year experience in Diagnostic Medical Sonography
- ARDMS eligible
