Job Title: Government Compliance - Asset Management

Job Summary:

As an Asset Management Specialist at L3Harris, you will play a critical role in ensuring the management of assets in accordance with government regulations, corporate policy, and local procedures. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with excellent organizational skills to manage asset records, provide barcode tags, and resolve discrepancies. If you have a basic understanding of test equipment and maintenance requirements, and are able to work under general supervision, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage asset records database, including accurate input of new records and updates to existing records.
  • Provide barcode tags and perform equipment tagging.
  • Review and resolve issues raised by property receiving discrepancies and supporting audits.
  • Review new part procurement listings for determination of quality clause requirements and manage those entries for calibration and tagging at the receipt point.
  • Support lean six sigma process improvement projects and 5S+1 clean-up events.
  • Coordinate disposal activities of excess equipment for Facilities and Finance.


Requirements:

  • Basic understanding of test equipment and maintenance requirements.
  • Familiarity with reutilization of equipment and basic knowledge of disposition requirements.
  • Ability to work under general supervision.
  • Ability to lift/move 40 lbs.
  • HS Diploma or GED.


Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Data analysis skills including familiarity with MS Excel formulas, charts, and pivot tables.
  • Familiarity with Sunflower asset tracking system.
  • Ability to gain ESD certification and knowledge of test equipment utilization.
