As a key member of our Configuration Management team, you will play a pivotal role in the strategic oversight and execution of configuration management processes for complex hardware systems.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of advanced hardware configuration management (HWCM) processes, tools, and methodologies within Agile development environments.
- Oversee and optimize the use of sophisticated HWCM tools, including Agile Product Data Management (PDM), Rational ClearQuest, Windchill, JIRA, and other platforms.
- Ensure rigorous adherence to Contract Statements of Work (SOW), policies, procedures, and technical documentation.
- Direct the Configuration Change Board (CCB) process, including the review, modification, and approval of documents, drawings, and associated records.
- Supervise the organization, review, and authorization of new and revised drawings and documentation.
- Act as a subject matter expert, offering advanced guidance and advice on HWCM methods, tools, and procedures to project teams.
- Lead and support functional and physical configuration audits, ensuring thorough preparation and adherence to audit requirements.
- Active Top Secret (TS) clearance is mandatory.
- Extensive technical knowledge and experience in hardware configuration management or related engineering disciplines.
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field with at least 4 years of related experience, or a Graduate Degree with a minimum of 2 years of experience, or equivalent experience in lieu of a degree.
- Preferred Additional Skills: Experience in administering version control tools, such as Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), Agile PDM, SolidWorks, Subversion, Teamcenter, Atlassian tools, or similar.
