Position Overview:

Boothe's Heating, Air, Plumbing and Drains is excited to welcome a Junior Electrical Technician to our dedicated team of innovative and enthusiastic professionals. Our technicians are responsible for executing fundamental electrical duties, supporting experienced Electricians, and ensuring outstanding customer interactions by providing respectful and attentive service at all times. This role offers hands-on training, mentorship, and opportunities for skill development while emphasizing compliance with workplace protocols, health and safety regulations, and successful task completion to aid in obtaining your Electrician certification.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect tools and materials for use at job sites
  • Measure, cut, and shape wiring and conduit
  • Identify and troubleshoot short circuits in electrical systems
  • Assist in lifting, positioning, and securing items such as wiring, conduit, and motors
  • Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring supplies and parts are organized
  • Keep work areas, machines, tools, and equipment clean, disposing of scrap and excess materials appropriately
  • Support wire pulling, lifting, and positioning of materials
  • May operate hand tools and equipment under direct supervision
  • Assist in the installation and securing of conduit
  • Collaborate with senior personnel on electrical installations, connections, and terminations

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated mechanical aptitude
  • Ability to work in confined spaces and climb ladders; comfortable in attics, garages, crawl spaces, and on roofs
  • Integrity and a commitment to promoting a positive company image
  • Exceptional customer service skills while on-site
  • Capacity to perform physically demanding tasks consistently
  • Results-oriented in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently
  • Must pass a background check and drug screening
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
