Position: Accounting Technician at GeorgiaGov
GeorgiaGov is seeking an Accounting Technician to contribute to our financial operations. In this role, you will be essential in documenting income, overseeing accounts receivable, and managing financial aid agreements from external sources. Your primary duties will encompass:
- Inputting financial transactions into the financial management system
- Generating invoices based on accounts receivable documentation
- Evaluating accounts receivable balances
- Conducting monthly reconciliations of subsidiary records
- Administering third-party contracts and scholarships within the financial management system
- Executing any additional assigned responsibilities
Essential Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience in bookkeeping or accounting support roles
Desirable Qualifications:
- Associate Degree in Accounting
- Familiarity with financial management systems
Compensation and Benefits:
