Cinemark Purchasing Manager Job Description

We are seeking an experienced purchasing manager to join our team at Cinemark. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing purchasing strategies, managing daily purchasing activities, and overseeing the purchasing team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement purchasing strategies to meet theater demands, ensuring optimal inventory levels and minimizing overstocking or stockouts.
  • Collaborate with suppliers, commodity teams, and other departments to ensure a smooth flow of materials and services through the supply chain.
  • Analyze demand forecasts and lead times to create material requirements plans, ensuring timely delivery of materials and minimizing disruptions.
  • Negotiate terms with suppliers, monitor performance, and resolve issues to develop long-term relationships.
  • Work closely with commodities teams to reduce material and service costs, manage material budgets, and track expenses.
  • Lead, mentor, and train the purchasing team, establishing clear objectives and fostering a collaborative environment.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, International Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in purchasing.
  • Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM) certification.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and purchasing software.
