Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HVAC Refrigeration Technician to join our team at JLL. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for the daily operation and maintenance of our commercial building systems, including HVAC, refrigeration, and electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the daily operation of HVAC/HVAC-R systems, utilities, and site systems, including water, steam, and additional site systems.
  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair facility equipment on all systems, with a strong focus on technical expertise in HVAC-R maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Perform routine facility repairs, including sheetrock, patching, caulking, painting, lock repair, and piping.
  • Monitor and repair boilers, ventilating and hot water heaters, pumps, valves, piping, and filters.
  • Install and repair plumbing, piping, tubing, and electrical controls, switching, and motor controls.
  • Troubleshoot and PM VFDs on HVAC units and pumps.
  • Perform utility substation HV switching and monitoring load distribution on site.
  • Work in close spaces, such as closets, crawl spaces, attics, vaults, etc., and work at heights.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience working with commercial building systems, specifically including components with refrigeration.
  • Experience with Siemens or Allen Bradley BAS systems.
  • Universal EPA 608 certification (Refrigeration).
  • Able to work in a customer service environment interacting with clients.
  • Team player with good interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient with computer-based systems and programs, including Microsoft Office and Outlook.
Working Conditions

The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment, with varying temperatures and weather conditions. Must be able to lift 50lbs and work at heights. Must be able to work in close spaces and confined areas.

This is a dayshift position, Monday-Friday. The successful candidate will be required to work 24-hour availability, including off-hours shifts, evenings, nights, and weekends.
