Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Refrigeration HVAC Technician to join our team at Aqua Logic Inc. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic environment that promotes learning and growth on the job and in the company.Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble refrigeration components into a finished product, including mounting compressors, condensers, and other components on frames using hand and power tools.
  • Solder and braze pipe connections using torches without damaging nearby components, and inspect solder joints to ensure they are neat, completely fused, and free from leaks.
  • Vacuum refrigeration systems as a quality control check to validate all connections are free of leaks, and check connections for leaks using dry nitrogen pressure and visually inspect the unit before passing to the next work center.
  • Replace components as instructed, rework units rejected by quality control, and move units or position pieces manually or using work aids such as casters or forklifts.
  • Perform other duties, provide support and coverage on all operations on line as requested by supervisor, and cross-train and be flexible.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area that supports co-workers, safety, efficiency, quality, and customer demands.
  • Operate within standard operating procedures (SOPs), position overview, blueprints, and work instructions.
Requirements
  • Minimum Education: High School Diploma
  • Refrigeration and/or Air-Conditioning: Minimum 2 years (Preferred)
  • Experience using small hand and power tools is preferred.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and follow drawings, wiring diagrams, and blueprints as shown in SOP, and ability to read and differentiate part numbers, labels, and work instructions.
  • Must be able to read, write, and understand English fluently.
