Senior Regulatory Engagement Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Regulatory Engagement Specialist to join our team at Citigroup, Inc. in New York. The ideal candidate will have 6-10+ years of experience in financial services, regulatory engagement or consulting, with a strong background in writing and copy-editing.
About the Role
As a Senior Regulatory Engagement Specialist, you will be responsible for facilitating interactions with regulators across Citi's Finance function, advising internal stakeholders on strategic insights and delivering common tools and templates to support best-in-class regulatory engagement and communications. You will create reports, templates and tools to identify, monitor, communicate and escalate regulatory activities, trends, risks and feedback.
Key Responsibilities
* Settle and operate necessary forums and frameworks to establish and govern processes for Finance Regulatory Engagement & Oversight, including exam management, regulatory reporting, meetings and requests for information.* Support key stakeholders in writing regulatory responses and coordinating feedback among internal stakeholders, ensuring clarity, consistency and accuracy.* Maintain a content library, so that messaging and datapoints can be applied consistently across regulatory documents; manage ongoing updates and version control.* Proactively build project plans, informing stakeholders of actions and deadlines, following up as needed-taking ownership of the overall delivery of the end product.* Create and maintain internal communications, including SharePoint intranet sites and PowerPoint decks for internal reporting to senior management and key stakeholders.* Coordinate across Citi Finance functions to develop cohesive and comprehensive responses to regulatory inquiries, on a timely basis.* Analyze quantitative and qualitative data to tease out a compelling narrative story.* Responding to feedback and adjusting communications content accordingly.* Ensure standards are maintained and followed related to the management of regulatory interactions, including exam management, regulatory meetings and requests for information.* Maintain and consistently update comprehensive inventory of supervisory issues and provides oversight and tracking of commitments to ensure consistent and timely resolution of deliverables.* Drive ongoing consistency and alignment to enterprise regulatory engagement standards, and coordinate deliverables across Finance business functions.
Requirements
* 6-10+ years of relevant experience in financial services, regulatory engagement or consulting, particularly involving writing and copy-editing.* Excellent relationship building and stakeholder management skills.* Proven leadership in managing documents and timely deliverables.* Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills.* Requires communication and diplomacy skills in order to guide and influence others.* Experience and demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities in a complex and dynamic environment.* Understanding and application of project management methodologies across delivery life cycle.* Extremely proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word; database and report writing knowledge is a plus.
