Job Summary

Adventist Health is seeking a skilled Per Diem/PRN Outpatient Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. As a vital member of our interdisciplinary care team, you will provide diagnostic, therapeutic, and consultative services to patients with communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.

Responsibilities
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate speech therapy for pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
  • Set patient care priorities and assign tasks to appropriate personnel based on job description skills and capabilities.
  • Provide education opportunities to personnel and the broader community.
  • Participate in clinical education by supervising student interns, clinical affiliates, and Clinical Fellowships (CFYs) as needed.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology required.
  • Two years' experience in speech language pathology preferred.
  • Speech Pathologist licensure in the state of practice required.
  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required.
