We are seeking a skilled Per Diem Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Adventist Health. As a key member of our interdisciplinary care team, you will provide diagnostic, therapeutic, and consultative services to patients with communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.
Responsibilities- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate speech therapy for pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
- Set patient care priorities and assign patient care activities to appropriate personnel based on job description skills and capabilities, scope of practice, and level of competency.
- Provide education and training to patients, families, and healthcare professionals on communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans.
- Participate in clinical education and training programs to stay current with best practices and evidence-based treatments.
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of practice.
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).
- Experience working with patients with communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.
