Mechanical Engineer Expert

About the Role:
We are seeking an exceptional Mechanical Engineer Expert to join our team at Corning Incorporated. As a key member of our manufacturing engineering team, you will play a vital role in leading and participating in projects that drive capacity installations, equipment debug, and process enhancements.
About You:
You will have a strong background in mechanical engineering principles and practices, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing. Your expertise in project management, SolidWorks/Inventor/CREO, and AutoCAD will enable you to execute medium- to large-scale equipment-focused projects efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and participate in manufacturing engineering projects to enhance manufacturing capabilities.
- Work collaboratively with project teams to solve complex mechanical engineering and process equipment-related problems.
- Manage all aspects of bringing new equipment into production, including financial justification, designing, specifying, purchasing, and tracking spending.
- Initiate and implement process or equipment improvements to reduce scrap/cost, increase run rates, or improve product performance and quality.
- Provide processing support during product development and ensure repeatable processes in production environments.

Compensation and Benefits:
We offer a competitive salary range of $89,822 - $123,505 based on your qualifications and location.
